Pack the right edition.

Open Minecraft: Java Edition 26.1.2 on your computer. Sign in with your own Minecraft account.

Bedrock, phones, and consoles can’t join this server.

Set sail.

Choose Multiplayer → Add Server. Name it Monkey Island and paste monkeyisland.fyi into Server Address.

Island asleep? Connect once, wait about a minute, then try again. The original address, mc.gennari.com, also works.

Why does the server say it’s asleep?

The island rests when nobody is playing. Joining wakes it up. Wait about a minute and reconnect; the website and map remain available.

It says I’m not whitelisted. What now?

Send the form above and ask your friend to check with the host. Make sure the username you submitted matches the account you’re playing with.

Can I join from a phone, Switch, Xbox, or PlayStation?

This island currently runs Java Edition, so you’ll need Java Edition on a computer. Bedrock Edition isn’t supported.
